Whether you are a beginner or just want to improve your communication skills, the Residents' Course is a great option that encourages learning on a daily basis. Methodology

Maravillas has developed, after years of experience, a flexible methodological approach capable of adapting to the varied interests of the students, meeting individual needs and the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The method is basically eclectic, having as its main objective to improve the student's ability to communicate in Spanish through practice and continuous interaction.

When can I enroll in the courses for residents and how long do they last?

These courses are available throughout the year, and the course duration is organized in blocks of 4 to 24 weeks.

How does the course work if I already live on the Costa del Sol?

We offer 4-week blocks with 4 weekly sessions in the afternoons (between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM). It is ideal for improving the Spanish you use in your daily life.

What are the precise schedules for the residents' courses?

The schedule depends on your level: Mondays and Wednesdays for beginners (4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) or level A1.1 (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM), and Tuesdays and Thursdays for level A2.1 (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM). This way, you can improve your Spanish without interrupting your mornings.

Up to what level can I study in the residents' course?

Our specific courses for residents cover levels A1, A2, B1, and B2, ideal for achieving total fluency in everyday life.

Do I have to buy books before arriving in Benalmádena?

We provide you with the necessary teaching materials for your in-person classes at our centre in Benalmádena.

What is the maximum number of pupils per class?

Our in-person groups in Benalmádena have a maximum of 10 students to guarantee personalised attention. This encourages active participation in the classroom and intensive learning from Monday to Friday in the city.

How do you pay for teaching materials?

Books and materials are usually included.

How far is the school from the beach?

Maravillas Language School is located in the centre (Arroyo de la Miel), about a 15-minute walk from the beach.

What is the minimum age to participate in the adult courses?

The minimum age is 18 years.

Does the student's Spanish level influence the cost of the course?

No, the price per student is the same regardless of their level. What determines the final budget is the number of weeks of stay, as the cost decreases proportionally the longer the visit.
